UMaine Presque Isle Establishes PWH Chapter

Students at the University of Maine have established a PWH Chapter on their campus in Presque Isle. They have collected medical supplies from local healthcare facilities which are being stored in a facility in Bangor and will be trucked to the PWH warehouse in Portland.

They are getting the word out about the work of PWH and offer a Global Health Education Series similar to the one in the PWH office in South Portland. This is held on the second Wednesday of the months of September, October, November, February, March and April.
